I am a 2016 graduate of Tennessee Tech University. I have a degree in History. I currently work at the Cookeville History and Depot Museums, and own and serve as Historical Consultant at Moore Historical Consulting. I love all kinds of history, but especially the Civil War. Preservation is my passion, as I am always looking to assist with the preservation of historic sites. I am also an avid sports fan. I root for Vanderbilt, and the Atlanta Braves. I hope this blog provides readers with the joy of reading and discovering lost tales in our history, students of history a resource to use in doing research, provide educators at both the secondary level and the college level a teaching tool to use in their classrooms, and help promote Moore Historical Consulting.
